When Should You See a Shoulder Specialist
- Is your shoulder affecting your ability to sleep well at night?
- Are you having any pain or weakness with overhead use of your shoulder? For example, do you have difficulty reaching into the back seat of your car, throwing a ball, or using your arm to reach up into a cabinet?
- Does shoulder pain affect your ability to perform any of your daily activities, hobbies, or sports?
- Does your shoulder feel like it is popping or sliding around?
- Is the shoulder pain persistent for several days or weeks even with rest, anti-inflammatories or other over the counter remedies?
