The Christ Hospital Orthopaedic Associates is an orthopedic surgery practice which offers treatment for problems of the hip, knee, shoulder, and general orthopedic conditions. Our areas of interest and expertise are in joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder, revisions, complex trauma reconstruction and sports injury reconstruction.

The practice was started by Patrick G. Kirk, MD after 13 years of directing the Joint Replacement program at the University of Cincinnati. Our practice differs from others in size and also services provided. With two physicians and one Certified Nurse Practitioner we provide a more personalized approach to patients when compared to large practices.

While we work closely with other healthcare providers we have chosen not to expand our business outside the traditional practice of Orthopedic Surgery. We do not own or have an interest in physical therapy practices, MRI/imaging or surgical center facilities. Our focus has been and continues to be providing the best care for our patients within our areas of expertise.

Each of us does not proclaim to be an expert at every aspect of Orthopedic Surgery and we may refer you to one of the group members and occasionally to physicians outside of our group when we feel it is appropriate. By focusing on limited orthopedic conditions we can provide a much higher level of care.
